Safe Amalgam Removal
Our Procedure Includes:
- High-speed Charcoal-filtered Extraoral amalgam vacuum- this removes and filters mercury vapors that are released from the amalgam removal.
- Dental Dam is placed around the tooth, isolating it and helping contain the small particles, debris, and water. This Dental Dam helps keep you from ingesting them as well as preventing contact with the gums.
- High-speed intraoral suction is utilized to remove any larger pieces of amalgam, debris, and water during the procedures.
- Supplemental Oxygen, Hair coverings, and Blankets can be provided.
Our office utilizes Dye-Free Dental Hygiene Products
As a biological dental practice, we believe in using and offering natural dental products that are dye-free, including teeth polishing paste.
Clifford Materials Reactivity Testing
As a biological dental practice, we understand that everyone may have different reactivity levels to dental materials. Our office has the Clifford Materials Reactivity Testing kits available at our office. This test will screen for existing systemic reactions associated with 84 chemical groups commonly found in dental restorative materials. The sensitivities are cross-referenced with a database of over 17,000 dental products to provide a customized list of least to most reactive materials to your unique body.
