Meet Maryam Meschi, DMD

Dr. Meschi is a Board Certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dental specialty training at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry with a strong emphasis in working with patients with special needs; where she also taught pediatric dentistry to fellow dental students. Meschi received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health with advanced courses at A.T. Still University School of Health Management and is certified in Public Health with a Dental Emphasis. She also served as the president of the Pediatric Study Association and was the team leader for the Give-Kids-A-Smile Committee. Dr. Meschi received her B.A. in Human Development from the University of California San Diego. While at UCSD she was a part of the Pre-Dental Society and the student run Free Clinic Project. Dr. Meschi also established and managed the Pediatric Dental Clinic Project and coordinated the Thousand Smiles Foundation which is a non-profit organization specializing in maxilla-facial deformities, such as cleft lips or cleft palates, for underprivileged children abroad. Dr. Meschi is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. A long-time resident of Southern California, Dr. Meschi has a passion for bringing top quality care and comfort to her patients and has been a welcome member of Dr. Mike’s team since 2014. She currently resides in Irvine with her Pomeranian Cody, and often spends time with her nieces in Arizona. Dr. Meschi is an avid traveler and adventurer who enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and trying new foods.
