Radiographs in Greensburg
Dental radiographs (X-rays) are a valuable tool that allow us to see areas of your child’s mouth that can’t be viewed during a standard exam. They help us detect cavities between teeth, monitor jaw and tooth development, and assess the health of the teeth and surrounding bone.
Pediatric dental X-rays use very low radiation levels, and we always take extra precautions—like lead aprons—to ensure your child’s safety. In most cases, we recommend X-rays once a year. However, for children with a higher risk of cavities, more frequent imaging (every six months) may be beneficial.
These images allow us to catch potential issues early, so we can provide the most effective and proactive care for your child’s growing smile.
