Meet Ami Dhaduk, DMD

Dr. Ami was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ, and graduated with high honors from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Economics. During her time at TCNJ, she spent a lot of time shadowing her own dentist, which sparked her love for dentistry. This passion ultimately led her to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in NJ, where she graduated in the top of her class.

Throughout dental school, Dr. Ami discovered her deep passion for working with children. This passion was further fueled when she was selected to participate in a mission trip to Red Mesa, AZ, where she provided dental care to an underserved population of children. It was this experience that solidified her desire to become a pediatric dentist.

After completing dental school, Dr. Ami continued her education at Montefiore Medical Center in NY, where she spent an additional two years specializing in pediatric dentistry. It was during her time in NY that she met her husband, who is originally from Greentree, PA. They both now live in Murrysville, PA, with their very silly and sweet dog, Louie. Off duty, she enjoys being active and spending time on her health/fitness, home renovation projects, cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams, traveling to visit friends and family, and mostly spending time with Louie.

Dr. Ami is passionate about helping her young patients feel comfortable and confident during their visits. She believes in easing their fears by carefully explaining each procedure and ensuring they understand what to expect. Dentistry can be intimidating, especially for some children, but her mission is to help every patient overcome their fears and feel proud of their ability to conquer challenges.
