Meet Lily Yao, DDS

Dr. Lily Yao was born and raised in Northern California in the city of San Francisco. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Communications at the University of California, Davis. In her college years, she co-published healthcare research papers primarily focusing on the method of molecular replication of Giardia lambia, a microscopic parasite. She also was involved in local community healthcare clinics in Sacramento and became a chair member of the Global Dental Brigades projects focused on providing quality patient-focused dental care and preventative oral health care education to underserved communities and even overseas, in Honduras.

At a young age, her passion for artistry and for the health profession inspired her love for dentistry. She attended the only recognized three year accelerated Doctorate program in the United States at the University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Yao has received her Invisalign Certification and through attending continuing education courses, she has since helped hundreds of patients achieve happy healthy smiles through Invisalign and by providing caring and comfortable dentistry. She is a past and current member of the California Dental Association (CDA) and American Dental Association (ADA).

In her spare time, Dr. Yao enjoys keeping up with the latest Netflix shows, playing board games with family and friends, and discovering new restaurants around the Huntington Beach area with her husband.
