Meet Andrew Holpuch DDS, PhD

Dr. Andrew Holpuch believes the best dental care is conservative, personalized, and grounded in evidence—helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while preserving their natural teeth whenever possible. By combining advanced technology with an honest, patient-first approach, he strives to make every visit comfortable, efficient, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Dr. Holpuch earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2014. While completing dental school, he also earned a Ph.D. in Oral Biology, where his research focused on developing a targeted drug delivery system for the prevention of oral cancer. The technology developed through his research continues to advance through clinical investigation, reflecting his passion for innovation and evidence-based patient care.
Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Holpuch attended Syracuse University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology while competing as a Division I athlete on the Orange track and field team as a 400-meter hurdler. Although he proudly considers himself a Buckeye, he still enjoys cheering on Syracuse basketball and track.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Holpuch opened his first practice in Garrettsville in 2014. In 2020, he expanded by opening a second location in Newton Falls, where he continues to provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to treating every patient with honesty, compassion, and a conservative philosophy focused on long-term oral health.
Committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Holpuch has continually invested in advanced technology that enhances precision, comfort, and efficiency. Today, digital dentistry is integrated into nearly every aspect of patient care—from digital imaging and 3D scanning to CAD/CAM restorations, digital smile design, and guided surgical procedures. He also provides dental implant treatment using fully digital workflows, allowing for precise planning, predictable outcomes, and natural-looking results.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Holpuch regularly completes advanced continuing education through the Spear and MOD Institutes focused on restorative, cosmetic, implant, and digital dentistry. His unique combination of clinical experience, scientific research, and modern technology enables him to provide comprehensive care while maintaining the conservative treatment philosophy his patients have come to trust.
Outside the office, Dr. Holpuch enjoys staying active through running, cycling, and strength training. He and his wife, Nicole, stay busy raising their three daughters—Rosalie, Raegan, and Jolie. Whether traveling, spending time outdoors, or enjoying life together as a family, they value making memories and staying connected to the community they call home.
