Meet Jigisha Tamakuwala, DDS

Dr. Jigisha Tamakuwala is a passionate and highly skilled dentist dedicated to creating confident, healthy smiles through advanced and compassionate dental care. Originally from India, she earned her dental degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital in 2005 and practiced dentistry in India before moving to the United States in 2007.

She later graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with honors in Esthetic Dentistry and has continued to advance her expertise through extensive continuing education in Full Mouth Reconstruction at NYU and FMR NYC.

Dr. Jigisha is proficient in smile makeovers using the latest digital dental technology, including smile design, intraoral scanners, and digital mock-ups that allow patients to preview their new smile before treatment begins. She is also experienced in All-on-X full mouth implant reconstruction, helping patients restore both function and confidence with comprehensive implant solutions.

Known for her gentle and caring approach, Dr. Jigisha is especially comfortable treating patients with dental anxiety and strives to create a calm, reassuring experience for every patient. She believes in combining advanced technology with personalized care to deliver natural, beautiful, and long-lasting results.

Dr. Jigisha speaks English, Hindi, Gujarati, and sign language, allowing her to connect with and care for patients from diverse backgrounds.

She currently resides in Bergen county with her husband, an optometrist practicing in Maywood, and their 8 year old daughter.
