Background and Credentials

Dr. Obiora Nkwonta has been serving our community with compassionate, comprehensive, personalized dental care for individuals and families for over 13 years. He has the training and experience you deserve from your dentist. Dr. Nkwonta first received a degree in architecture from the University of Oregon in 1989 before going on to graduate from the Howard University College of Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Nkwonta continues his education quarterly. He has also received advanced training, including a certificate with the Apsun Dental Implant Research and Education Center. Dr. Nkwonta is a member of the following organizations:

Dr. Nkwonta is supported by his wife, Vivian C. Nkwonta, MD, a hospitalist at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma. In his free time, Dr. Nkwonta thoroughly enjoys soccer, hiking, traveling, cooking, architecture, and spending time with family and friends.
