Meet Phillip Gould, DMD

Dr. Gould is passionate about dentistry. He appreciates getting to know his patients, building
personal connections, and treating every person he serves as a member of his extended family.
Dr. Gould goes above and beyond to help patients feel relaxed and at ease before, during, and
after their visit.
Dr. Gould is a native of Greenville, SC and a graduate of Greenville High School. He furthered
his education at Clemson University, where he majored in Bioengineering. At Clemson, he met his
wife Stephanie, who is also a Clemson graduate and who now works as a nurse at Prisma Health.
Dr. Gould then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine,
and upon graduation, took a position as the only dentist in a rural community. While practicing
there, Dr. Gould received individualized specialty training in implant dentistry, root canals,
and cosmetic dentistry.
Volunteering and giving back to the community is also a significant aspect of Dr. Gould’s dental
career. He volunteers at the Greenville Free Dental Clinic, he participates in mission trips to
underserved areas, and he also volunteers on Dental Access Days. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gould
enjoys the outdoors, swimming, running, college football, and most of all, spending time with
his wife, Stephanie, their four daughters, and their dog, Hopper.
