Meet Jessica Gursakal, DDS
Dr. Gursakal has been practicing dentistry for over a decade and for the last five years right
here in Tipton County. She is experienced in all facets of general dentistry and loves being a
dentist. We know you'll appreciate her calm and gentle chairside manner. Born into a military
family, Dr. Gursakal moved frequently during her childhood, which instilled in her adaptability
and a deep appreciation for community. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of
Memphis with undergraduate degrees in English and History, originally pursuing a path toward
teaching. Her love of education continues to influence her work, where she enjoys helping
patients understand their treatment options and oral health.
Dr. Gursakal earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health
Science Center in Memphis, TN. She is an active member of the American Dental Association,
Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists,
Christian Medical Dental Association. She completes many hours of continuing education each year
to ensure we are offering the highest quality dentistry to our patients.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Gursakal enjoys spending time with her husband of almost
20 years and their two sons. She also enjoys traveling with her family.
