A Sincere Passion for Dentistry

What makes a good dentist? This can be answered many ways, but most would agree that an intelligent and curious mind, gentle and calming demeanor, and excellent hand and eye coordination are a good start!

While in dental school, Dr. Riester was inducted into the national honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon that was founded for the purpose of encouraging scholarship and advancing the ethical standards of dentistry, and was also active in running the student chapter of the American Student Dental Association. Providing free dental work in under-priviledged areas is also a passion for Dr. Riester. She has done fullfilling dental mission work in Guatemala, Syria, Ghana, and Haiti; while also volunteering at the Good Neighbors free dental clinic in downtown Buffalo.

In Her Free Time

Dr. Riester is married and has two daughters that go to Eden schools and keep her very busy outside the office. Summers are for pool time and travel; while the colder months are reserved for Buffalo Bills games and skiing.
