Meet Sean Fitzgibbons, DMD, MS

Dr. Fitzgibbons grew up in Stafford, Virginia, and is proud to now live and work in the Fredericksburg area, serving the very community he calls home. After graduating from the University of Florida, he served as a pilot and officer in the United States Marine Corps before pursuing dentistry. He earned his dental degree as valedictorian of his class at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and went on to complete advanced training in endodontics at The Ohio State University.

He and his wife, Tara, have been married for more than fifteen years and have three children—Theo, Gus, and Flo. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, and playing board games, and you might spot them on the Rappahannock River Trail or around Downtown Fredericksburg on weekends.

Dr. Fitzgibbons established Founders Endodontics with the goal of bringing modern endodontics and exceptional patient care to his hometown community. He is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable while receiving the highest level of treatment. By combining advanced technology with a compassionate approach, he strives to make every patient experience a positive one.
