Denise Allen Brown, DMD

Dr. Denise Brown considers herself a “native of Atlanta”, having lived in Atlanta most of her life. Born in Bethesda, MD, Dr. Brown was raised in Roswell, GA and Wichita, KS. A family move brought Dr. Brown back to Atlanta where she graduated from Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA.
Dr. Brown is a 1993 cum laude graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1997 from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and has practiced in Gwinnett County since graduation.
Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Hinman Dental Society of Atlanta. She was the 2005/2006 President of the Gwinnett Dental Society. She has served as the society’s Secretary-Treasurer and Vice President.
Dr. Brown has participated in the Brighter Smiles Campaign for bleaching to support breast cancer and the Gwinnett Hospital Foundation. She enjoys seeking continuing education opportunities and has completed the Pankey Essentials curriculum offered through the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL. She currently enjoys going “back home” to Pankey for courses in the Mastery series.
Dr. Brown is married to Scott. They were blessed with the birth of daughter Amelia and son Carter. She loves to cheer for her son on the high school basketball team. Her daughter is currently studying Sports Management and Entertainment at the University of South Carolina after a childhood spent playing basketball!
