Sonia Kumar, DDS

Anesthesiologist

Dr. Kumar was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and feels fortunate to call the state her lifelong home. She completed her anesthesia training at Loma Linda University and is deeply passionate about providing dental care through anesthesia—especially for patients who might not otherwise be able to receive treatment. Her mission is to ensure a safe, comfortable experience for every patient through compassionate and comprehensive care.

Dr. Kumar is board-certified by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, where she also serves on the Board of Directors and holds the role of Vice President of Written Examinations. In addition, she is an Associate Program Director for the NYU Langone Dental Anesthesiology Residency.

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Kumar enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
