Dear Patients and Friends,

For over 40 incredible years, I have been blessed to serve you through holistic and biological dentistry. The journey has been deeply rewarding and has filled my life with purpose and joy. Now, the time has come for me to step away from my practice and embrace a new chapter of my life outside of dentistry. It is a bittersweet moment, but one filled with gratitude for the relationships we’ve built and the trust you’ve placed in me.

After much thought and careful consideration, I am delighted to introduce Dr. Rishi Patel as the new owner and dentist at BioDental Healing. Dr. Rishi shares the same passion for holistic and biological dentistry that has been the foundation of this practice. His warmth, enthusiasm, and caring nature align perfectly with the philosophy of care you’ve come to know and trust. I am confident that you will find him approachable, compassionate, and committed to both your dental health and overall well-being.

Dr. Rishi is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at East Carolina University. He has practiced in Houston and Austin and now brings his talents and heart to Ventura County—a place he and his fiancé are excited to call home. He has trained with leading voices in biological dentistry, including Dr. Dominik Nischwitz and Dr. Katie To, and although he did not share the same mentors I had, he has taken it upon himself to study their work deeply and embody their teachings.

While my retirement may not come as a surprise to many of you, please know that I remain committed to ensuring a smooth and thoughtful transition. I will continue to support Dr. Rishi in a consulting role during this time, and our exceptional team will remain by your side to provide the continuity of care you deserve.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Rishi’s ability to lead with intention and compassion. His vision for BioDental Healing is rooted in the same mission that has guided this practice: to help patients not only heal, but thrive—physically, emotionally, and energetically. I am confident you will find in him a trusted partner on your journey toward optimal health.
